I assume it will work just like dead island its expansion and dying light and dying light expansion if you are at the same point in your world`s missions as the host it will progress your if you are earlier or later in game it does not progress you story etc ! however in saying this i know dying light 2 is attempting to have a more dynamic world with how you play the story so it may possibly Dead Island 2’s zombie-stocked netherworld is a lot easier to weather with friends, so it’s helpful that the game prioritizes multiplayer just as much as the original Dead Island did. Dead Island 2. Up to three people can play together in a Dead Island 2 co-op game. This limit means that you and two of your friends can hit the streets of Hell-A and begin slaying together on the platform of you choice, which we did in our Dead Island 2 review playthrough. Dead Island 2 allows for you to play with up to two of your friends. So, three players are able to play the game simultaneously. However, one thing you should keep in mind is that the host for a co-op session will always be the player who has made the least progress in the game. On the plus side, progress made in co-op will apply to all players!
