HELP: LG OLED C1 Wi-Fi Dropping/Apps Stuttering. The last couple days I’ve been having trouble with playback on my LG OLED C1 55”. On Plex, it takes forever to load the UI and when I finally do get to an episode I’m lucky to get 5 seconds of playback between 1-2min between buffering. With YouTube, the connection is slow and rarely connects.
Go to General – Network – Internet Connection – Wi-Fi or Wired Connection. Choose your Wi-Fi from the list. Insert Wi-Fi password in case you’re connecting for the first time. If your LG TV is still disconnecting from Wi-Fi then you can be sure that TV is the problem.
To disconnect Wi-Fi from your LG smart TV, you need to access the Wi-Fi settings. To do this, go to the Home screen, tap on the “Apps” icon, and select “Settings” from the list.
Update Firmware. If the drivers of the Wi-Fi module installed on your TV are outdated or have some bugs, it can prevent Wi-Fi from connecting correctly. So, please check if your TV has any firmware updates available. Updating your TV firmware will also update the network drivers, thus fixing the issue.
Been at it with an old lg TV for years. WiFi disconnects randomly and even when connected, YouTube app sometimes fails to buffer content - WiFi router is right next to the tv. WiFi in lg just sucks I guess. I ended up going wired and all the problems went away.

There is nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi everything else is fine and I can watch Netflix with no issue on other devices. The firmware is up to date at version 2127.0. Restarting your TV establishes a new internet connection with your router and can prevent the Wi-Fi from disconnecting on your Samsung TV. This step will also clear the RAM and cache. When these become full, it can cause conflicts that could lead to a WiFi disconnection. Unplug your Samsung TV from the socket for 60 seconds before plugging it

LG Smart TV’s Suck big time (WiFi connection issues) I know what ya’ll gonna say and yes this is a rant post. I’ve tried 100 things, some times it works, sometimes it doesn’t but it always disconnects. My WiFi is strong and out of all the devices I have in the house stupid tv is the only one with issues. My point is in this day and age CAThS9Q.
